Fishing, Golfing, and Saving in September

Hello Friends,

It’s that time of year again when the crowds of tourists leave the coast after a summer of hiking, beach combing, and camping. In their wake, we welcome the Fall Salmon Fisherman to the Siuslaw River Salmon Run and to the Florence area. Whether you’re camping or staying with us, we hope you have a great fall catch.

If salmon fishing isn’t your thing, September’s weather is still perfect for enjoying the coast. Our fall winds move in, bringing more gentle breezes than those of summer, and the days are warm, perfect for a round of golf or a ride on the dunes. We have Ocean Dunes and Sand Pines Golf Courses right in our back yard, making it easy to spend an enjoyable day out and about right here in Florence.

With the arrival of September, our daily rates have dropped almost 10 percent across the board: A night away from home just got a little easier. Add to that current gas prices dropping and you can’t beat this month for a guilt-free mini-break here at the Oregon Coast.

We hope to see you soon at The Lighthouse Inn,
